For over a decade, the Mass Coastal Railroad has provided integrated rail freight and logistics services to businesses and industries throughout the South Coast of Massachusetts and Southern New England.
Our railroad operates a network of lines totaling 135 route miles of track stretching from Fall River to Hyannis, and is custodian of an additional 42 miles of track. The Mass Coastal prides itself on providing personalized, six day per week service for our customers. Utilizing Mass Coastal’s services, customers can quickly and easily reach all of the Cape and the Islands, the greater metro Boston market, central Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and everywhere in between.
In this brochure is a guide to the services available on the Mass Coastal. At facilities throughout our system, shippers can take advantage of a variety of logistics options, including warehousing/cross dock, climate controlled warehousing, steel/lumber reloads, bulk products transloading, public tracks, and FTZ port services. Our facilities are run both by the Mass Coastal and trusted 3PL partners who are experts in their fields. Commodities handled include:

The Mass Coastal interchanges daily with our Class 1 interchange partner CSX at two locations - Taunton and Middleboro. Through our partnership with CSX, shippers can ship products and materials to and from any location in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
