Tariffs and Pricing Information

When the First and Last Miles are the most important

At facilities throughout the Mass Coastal system, shippers can take advantage of a variety of logistics options, including warehousing/cross dock, climate controlled warehousing, steel/lumber reloads, bulk products transloading, public tracks, and FTZ port services. Our facilities are run both by the Mass Coastal and trusted 3PL partners who are experts in their fields. Commodities handled include:

  • Plastics
  • Chemicals
  • Aggregates
  • General consumer goods
  • Food grade (including chilled and frozen)
  • Steel
  • MSW/C&D
  • Lumber and building products
  • Ferrous and non-ferrous scrap

Mass Coastal Railroad aims to be transparent and provide our customers with uniform and fair pricing information for the handling of shipments by rail. Below is our current Tariff document(s) as pursuant to 49 CFR Pt. 1312 and MGL Pt. 1 XXII Ch. 160 Sc. 60. Be advised, that as of January 2024, all acquired Bay Colony Properties will be subject to Mass Coastal Tariffs.

Mass Coastal Railroad interchanges with our Class 1 Railroad Partner, CSX Corporation at two locations: Middleboro and Taunton. Through our partnership with CSX, shippers can ship products and materials to and from any location in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Shippers utilizing Mass Coastal facilities can count on reliable, multi-modal connectivity to points throughout New England, North America, and the world. Our rail lines and terminals connect to multiple rail, highway, and maritime routes.
